Yeddyurappa summoned to Delhi over son's trust
Bangalore: Amid fresh charges of corruption levelled against him by the JD(S), Karnataka Chief
Minister B S Yeddyurappa has been summoned by BJP high command for "consultations".

The Chief Minister's secretariat told PTI in Bangalore that Yeddyurappa would leave for Delhi by a 7.25 am flight on Thursday.

Yeddyurappa is likely to call on BJP president Nitin Gadkari. He is also expected to meet other senior leaders, including Arun Jaitley, in-charge of party affairs in
Karnataka, party sources said.

In his latest charge, senior JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy released a set of documents at a press conference in Delhi claiming that an educational trust run by Yeddyurappa had received over Rs 27 crore as donation from companies, including some loss-making ones, in return for official favours.

The press conference was also attended by Sitaram Yechury (CPM), A B Bardhan (CPI) and Namo Nageswara Rao (TDP) among others, who said they will raise the issue in Parliament.
