Gorakhpur: BJP lawmaker Yogi Adityanath today rejected the charge that RSS had imparted training to the inmates of Jawahar Bagh in Mathura and blamed "politicisation of police force" for the incident.

"The allegation is totally far from truth...who is Viresh Yadav whose name has come to light in connection with Jawahar Bagh...why is the Samajwadi Party government not recommending a CBI inquiry into the incident?" he told reporters when asked to react on reports that RSS imparted training to the inmates at Jawahar Bagh who had clashed with police during an anti-encroachment drive.

Viresh Yadav, the 'security officer' of Ram Vriksh Yadav, the cult leader whose supporters had encroached upon Jawahar Bagh leading to clashes with the police, had yesterday claimed that an RSS volunteer from Agra had trained the squatters.

Attacking the SP government in Uttar Pradesh, he said "had politicisation of police not taken place, the khaki uniform would not have been defamed so much in the incident and policemen would not have lost their lives."

Replying to a question, he alleged that SP is "being run by musclemen" such as Mukhtar Ansari and Atique Ahmed and once these elements leave the party, only Mulayam Singh Yadav's family will be left behind.

The controversial BJP lawmaker described as "baseless" the allegation levelled by Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha that RSS was "appeasing" Muslims by organising an Iftar party on July 2 and claimed that Muslim Rashtriya Manch, an RSS affiliate, had organised the Iftar party in Delhi to spread the message of harmony and of making India riots-free.
