Ten graduates interning at a multi-national company in Nasik in Maharashtra have been arrested after a young girl working as a trainee with them died in hospital today.
Two nights ago, 19-year-old Pranali Rahane slit her wrist and tried to hang herself in her bedroom; she was rescued by her parents who rushed her to hospital; she died of her injuries today.
The police said the 10 graduates she named in her note were arrested today on charges of abetment to suicide and under anti-ragging laws.
Ms Rahane had been training with the multi-national for more than two years.
