A 24-year-old Indian worker in the UAE has been jailed for three months for molesting a Filipina housewife inside a building and will be deported after completing his sentence.
The worker, who was identified by his initials H R, followed the 27-year-old woman while she was returning home before kissing her at the first floor of the building in July last year.
"I was heading home... I entered the building and he continued walking behind me. Once I reached the first floor, he grabbed me by my arms and backed me up against the wall before he kissed me against my will. He molested me and when I shouted, he ran away," the victim was quoted as saying by the Gulf News today.
The defendant, however, denied the charge of molesting the woman.
