Parents of a 26-year-old man have sought help from the police and district authorities to bring back their son from Kuwait who they claim is stuck there without any job and money for the last three months.

Mr Khan's father Bahraichi met Mr Kumar yesterday and told him that his son was paid only one month's salary since January. "Bereft of money and anything to eat, he has taken shelter in the Indian High Commission's office in Kuwait since last week," said Mr Bahraichi.
"We had sold our agriculture land to send our son and we have nothing more to give to the agent now whom we met for help," he added.
Mr Khan has also filed a written complaint with the High Commission and is awaiting help, his father said, adding, he will also seek help from PMO and the External Affairs Ministry.
The administration is seized of the matter, but it is related to the External Affairs Ministry. Hence, we are not in a position to do anything, said Mr Kumar.
