AirAsia India today launched daily flight services to Chandigarh and Jaipur from its current hub Bangalore, marking its entry in the North Indian market.
AirAsia India, the latest budget carrier to enter the domestic airline space, now flies from six airports in the country - Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Goa, Chandigarh and Jaipur.
"We are very excited to have Jaipur and Chandigarh on our network, as guests will now be able to connect conveniently to these cities from Bengaluru," AirAsia India chief executive Mittu Chandilya said in a release.
The airline claimed 100 per cent load factor on the two inaugural flights.
The airline started its operations on June 12 with a flight service to Goa from Bangalore.
