Jaipur:
A 72-year-old American has allegedly committed suicide by setting himself on fire in a hilly area near Virat Nagar, Jaipur police said on Thursday.
The man has been identified as Jeff Kanabele of California.
"He also left a suicide note and a letter before ending his life yesterday asking authorities to distribute the money he had among widows and poor people," the police said.
His passport, some documents and Rs. 45,810 in cash were recovered near his corpse.
