
Jaipur:
A newborn baby girl, who was found abandoned in Rajasthan's Ganganagar district, died in a hospital, police said today.
The unidentified baby, who was born prematurely, was found abandoned by police on January 19.
The baby was found abandoned in some bushes by a woman working in a nearby area, Nisha Chauhan, who is working with an NGO in the district, said.
The baby was taken to hospital by the police, she said.
The baby could not survive as she was born prematurely and was suffering from the resultant complications, Dr Avinash Sardana, who looked after the infant at the Sriganganagar Government Hospital, said.
