Jaipur:
Four people were killed, while one person was seriously wounded when a train rammed into the jeep they were in at an unmanned railway crossing in Rajasthan's Churu district on Friday, police said.
According to the police, the incident took place near Hamirvas town in the district, some 250 kilometres from Jaipur.
"Five people were going in a jeep over the railway tracks at an unmanned crossing. Delhi-Bikaner Superfast rammed into the jeep. Four of them died on the spot, while one was rushed to a hospital," a police officer said.
Those killed have been identified as Pawan Sharma, 35, Jagdish Kumar, 28, Sandip, 10, and Bishan, 30, residents of a village near Hamirvas town.
