Jaipur:
Resenting a girl's refusal to elope with him, a boy along with his three friends set her ablaze in her house in Ajmer district of Rajasthan.
The girl suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and was in hospital in a critical condition in Ajmer, police said.
The incident took place in Maliyon Ki Dhani near Kishangarh town late last night when Arjun Sharma went to the house of the girl with his friends Lokesh, Shiv and Raghuraj and asked her to go with him.
The girl, whose marriage was fixed with some other man, refused to do so and asked him to leave her house.
To this, the boy lost his temper and poured some inflammable, which he picked from her house, on her and set her ablaze, the police said, adding that a hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
