Jaipur:
A government doctor in Jaipur has been booked for allegedly removing a kidney of a two-year-old child, which led to his death, police said today.
In a complaint filed at Motidoongari police station in Jaipur, Gaurav's father Ramu Kashyap has accused Pradeep Goyal, a doctor with the plastic surgery department of SMS government hospital, of clandestinely removing the kidney of his son during an operation on his finger.
The boy died on June 13, four days after the surgery, from complications due to the removal of his kidney, Mr Kashyap alleged in the complaint filed on July 19 following a local court's directive.
A case under relevant sections of IPC was registered against the accused doctor and others.
Goyal, on the other hand, has denied the charge levelled against him.
