Two minor sisters were killed and three family members injured in an explosion that took place while they were making firecrackers in their house at Khandela town here, police said.
The explosion took place in one Liaqat's house in which his daughters - 13-yeasr-old Khushbu and Alia (2) - were killed, they said.
Liaqat's niece Muskan (8) and two women members of the family received burn injuries, they said.
The bodies has been sent to mortuary, the police said, adding an investigation is underway in the matter.
