Jaipur : At least fifteen passengers were injured today when a private bus in which they were travelling overturned from a small bridge and fell in a pit at Devaria in Jhalawar district in Jaipur, police said.
The injured were rushed to a government hospital in Bhawani Mandi, Mishroli SHO Arjun Swami said.
The bus was on its way from Siligarh to Bhawani Mandi when the driver lost control of the steering, and the vehicle overturned and fell in the pit around 1.30 PM, Mr Swami said.
The driver fled the scene after the accident, the SHO said, adding a hunt has been launched to nab him.
