Jaipur:
Nine persons were killed today and two others injured in two separate road accidents in Jaipur, police said today.
Seven pilgrims were returning from Khatu Shyamji temple when the jeep in which they were traveling collided with a private bus near Ringus in Sikar district in the wee hours today, police said.
The deceased identified as Birju, Rameshwar, Jaiprakash, Ramratan, Roshan died on the spot, while the condition of the two injured was stated to be stable, they said.
In another incident, four men were killed when their SUV rammed into a bus near Lappada village in Alwar, this morning.
The victims identified as Atar Singh, Bhur Singh, Lekhraj and Satveer were heading towards Alwar city from Kherli village for servicing of their vehicle, police said.
