Jaipur: An Israeli, Polti, tourist sustained serious injuries as she fell from the boundary wall of the Amber Fort while clicking photograph on Friday. She was rushed to the government hospital.
According to doctors, Polti has sustained serious head and shoulder injuries.
Authorities at Amber Fort said that a group of Israeli tourists had come to visit the fort and Polti, aged 65, slipped and fell down while clicking pictures of Ganesh Pol in Diwan-e-Aam.
According to other tourists present on the spot, Polti seemed to have fainted due to tiredness. She was immediately rushed to the government hospital but the doctors called in the ambulance and she was transferred to the emergency unit of SMS Hospital. SMS doctors further referred her to Fortis Hospital.
