Jaipur:
A 20-year-old girl was allegedly beheaded by her father in Sadokan village of Jaipur's Nagaur district, police said on Wednesday.
Pema Ram, the father, who is said to be mentally challenged, is absconding since the incident.
The deceased's mother suddenly woke up after hearing a scream and found the headless body of her daughter and her husband standing with a sword, the police said.
She informed her neighbours but by then Pema Ram had fled, they said, adding that reasons of the incident could not be ascertained.
A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated, the police added.
