Newspaper hawkers on indefinite strike in Jaipur

About 4,000 newspaper hawkers in Jaipur went on an indefinite strike from today, demanding hike in commission.

Newspapers were not lifted from the various points for delivering them to readers, a representative of the agitating hawkers said.

"Hike in commission is our main demand. We have been demanding this for a long time now,"  hawker Dinesh Sharma said, adding the strike would continue will the demand was met.
