Jaipur:
The principal of a government nursing college was arrested for allegdly molesting a girl student for marks and taking a bribe of Rs. 4,000 from her two friends for passing them in their annual exams in Rajasthan's Sikar district.
Trilok Chand Tripathi had made sexual advances at a girl studying in the first year of nursing before annual exams for giving her extra marks in the exams and also threatened not to give her even passing marks if she did not accept his proposal, Additional SP (Anti-Corruption Bureau), Sikar, Moolchand Rana, said.
"She did not do so and was failed. Tripathi once again asked the girl to accept his demand if she wanted to get passed. He also demanded Rs. 2000 each from two of her friends who had also failed," he said.
The girl lodged a complaint and after verification, the ACB laid a trap and nabbed him yesterday when he was molesting the girl in a deserted house.
A case has been filed against the principal for molesting the girl and taking bribe, he added.
