Blistering heat affected normal life in other parts of the state also where Churu sizzled at 44.7 degree.
Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Kota recorded maximum of 43, 41.3, 40.6 and 39.4 degree Celsius respectively, while other places recorded day temperature ranging from 36.6 degree Celsius to 38.9 degree Celsius, according to the Met department in Jaipur.
