Rise in mercury brings respite in Rajasthan
Jaipur: Bringing some respite from extremely cold conditions, mercury rose by a few degrees in
most parts of Rajasthan with Sriganganagar being the coldest at 0.4 degree Celsius.

Mount Abu recorded a minimum temperature of 0.8 degree C last night as against minus 4.2 degree C recorded the previous day, while the minimum temperature in Churu was 1.3 degree C as against 0.4 degree C recorded the day before, according to the
Meteorological department here.

Pilani, Bikaner, Jaipur and Barmer recorded minimum temperatures of 3.7 degree C, 4.4 degree C, 4.6 degree C and 6.8 degree C respectively while Jodhpur, Kota and Ajmer recorded 7, 8 and 9 degree C respectively.

Night temperatures may increase slightly during next 24 hours, the Met department said.
