Jaipur:
A cash of Rs 7.97 lakh was stolen by robbers after cutting the cash box of an ATM of a nationalised bank at Gilot near Neemrana industrial town in Alwar district early today, police said.
Robbers used a gas cutter machine to remove the cash box from the ATM of SBBJ at Gilot, the police said.
There was no guard deployed at the ATM located in the agricultural area, 10 km away from Neemrana, they said.
State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) has lodged an FIR with the Neemrana police station, and police have alerted the bordering districts and check posts to nab the robbers who fled in the darkness, they said.
