Jaipur: Seven pilgrims were killed and 11 injured when a goods train rammed into a truck in which they were travelling in Rajasthan's Bikaner district on Monday, police said.
Infuriated, other pilgrims set on fire a relief train that reached the spot. The accident occurred near Chani village, some 400 km from Jaipur.
The truck, going from Bikaner to Ramdevara in nearby Jaisalmer district, was crossing an unmanned railway crossing when it was hit.
Three pilgrims died on the spot and four succumbed to injuries in a government hospital in Bikaner.
