Jaipur:
Heat wave conditions prevailed in parts of Rajasthan with Sri Ganganagar recording a maximum of 47 degree Celsius.
Ganganagar was the hottest in the state followed by Churu, Bikaner, Kota and Jaipur at the maximum of 45.3, 43, 42.4 and 42 degree Celsius respectively, according to the Met office in Jaipur.
The other places recorded the day temperature between 38.5 degree Celsius to 41 degree Celsius.
According to the Met department, there will be no respite from the prevailing heat conditions in the next 24 hours.
