Three persons were killed and 19 others injured in two separate mishaps in the district in the wee hours today.
Two persons were killed when their van collided head-on with a truck in Harmada area here. The victims identified as Kamlesh Khandelwal (29) and Shekhar Jain (50) were returning to their home in Murlipura when the incident occurred, SHO Harmada Dharveer Singh said.
In another accident near Shahpura, a child was killed and 19 others injured when a mini bus they were travelling in overturned after a truck hit the vehicle. The victims were going back to their village near Virat Nagar after attending a function when the mishap took place.
Twelve critically injured people were rushed to SMS Government Hospital-Jaipur where a two-and-half-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries," police said.
