An elderly woman was allegedly murdered and her legs chopped off by unidentified miscreants for her silver anklets in Rajasthan's Dausa district.
Narayani Devi (70) was found dead in her house yesterday with her legs chopped off allegedly by the culprits who robbed her silver anklets, police said today.
"She was living alone in the house in Shiv colony of Mahua town while her sons were in another village when the incident occurred late on Monday night," the police said, adding that efforts are on to identify the accused.
