Jaipur: An elderly woman and her three grandchildren were today found dead in Chaksu town in Jaipur district, police said.
Bodies of Sangari Devi, aged around 60 years, her grand-daughters 10-year-old Kesanta and eight-year-old Kavita were recovered in their house in Mahadevpura village of the town.
While body of 20-year-old Ram, the eldest of the deceased siblings, was found in a farm near the house, the police said.
Prima -facie, sharp-edged weapons may have been used for the crime, however, reason of the murders was not immediately known, they said.
Senior police officials including Police Commissioner BL Soni, DCP South Virendra Jhala were overseeing the investigation.
