Jammu: A nine-year-old student was crushed by a vehicle carrying her home from school in Jammu district, police said on Tuesday.
The Standard IV student was killed when the driver was reversing the vehicle, they said, adding that she died on the spot.
Tilak Raj, the accused, has been arrested and a case registered against him.
The girl's body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem, police added.
