Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government today said that helicopters would be used to airlift people stranded in various Chenab Valley areas cut off due to snowfall.
"Helicopter service would be started for Dachhan, Marwah and Wadwan areas of Chenab Valley to airlift the stranded passengers and patients from these cut off areas," Minister of State for Home Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo said here today.
Hundreds of pilgrims are stranded at Kishtwar and other places.
