Jammu: A Vaishno Devi-bound pilgrim died, apparently after suffering a heart attack, in Katra town of Reasi district on Monday.
Budireddi Raju (46), a resident of Andhra Pradesh, fell unconscious near Ambilika point Adh Kuwari and was taken to a nearby dispensary where doctors declared him brought dead, a police officer said.
The apparent cause of the death seems to be a heart attack, he said.
A case has been registered and the body has been taken to Community Health Centre in Katra for legal and medical formalities, he added.
