More security posts will be set up for visitors to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi
district, a senior police official said today.
Reviewing security arrangements around cave shrine, IGP Dilbagh Singh directed police to setup up more posts in the wake of increase in number of pilgrims during this season.
"More police posts should be created for incident-free and smooth darshan of pilgrims during heavy rush," Singh told department officials during a security review meeting.
Singh also reviewed security set-up at Katra town, the base camp of Vaishno Devi Shrine.
