800 JRF, SRF Fellowship Under CCRT, Ministry Of Culture; Check Details

New Delhi: Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture has invited applications from candidates for awarding Junior and Senior Fellowship for two consecutive years 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 with effect from 11 September 2017. Eligible candidates shall have to appear online only. 400 Junior and Senior Fellowships for each financial year having a value of Rs 10,000 per month (Rs 20000 for Senior Fellowships) for artistes in the age group of 25- 40 years (above 40 years for Senior Fellowship) will be awarded for a maximum period of two years. Details of the fellowships are available at the official website indiaculture.nic.in.

'The selected candidates will have to undertake academic or application oriented research work on projects for which they have been awarded the Fellowship. They will complete their projects within two years and submit the same to CCRT/Ministry of Culture. Extension of time for a maximum of three months will be permissible with the approval of Ministry of Culture and without any additional financial liability to the Government. A mid-term review/assessment of the progress in each case will be carried out after one year and further continuance of Fellowship will depend on such review/ assessment,' says CCRT.

The last date to submit applications is 10 October 2017. These fellowships will enable candidates to undertake research oriented projects in the field of Performing, Literary, Plastic Arts and New Areas related to Culture
