AP Police Constable Recruitment: Merit List Released
Andhra Pradesh Police (AP Police) has released the merit list for recruitment to the post of Constables (Civil and AR).The recruitment process which garnered huge attention from aspirants in the previous year has finally come out with the provisional selection list. State Level Police Recruitment Board, Andhra Pradesh (ASLPRB as referred commonly) had started the recruitment process towards the later half of 2016. The recruitment process caught much attention due to the large number of vacancies involved in it.
AP Police ASLPRB Constable Recruitment 2017 Merit List: How to check the resultThe merit list has been released at the official web portal of ASLPRB at http://recruitment.appolice.gov.in/. Candidates can download the list available in the form of .pdf files. Candidates can download the result file and check against their roll number.
ASLPRB has selected candidates on the basis of their performance in written test (preliminary phase), physical measurement test, physical efficiency test and final written exam. Only those candidates who had qualified in the first three selection processes were allowed to appear for the final written examination. The final exam comprised of four papers.
'The minimum marks to be secured by a candidates in order to qualify in the written examination in each paper is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs and Ex. Servicemen,' said the official notification.
