New Delhi: Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) will conduct examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade III. Admit cards for the same has been released at the official website of ASRB at asrb.org.in. The recruitment will be held under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous body under Dept. of Agricultural Research & Education, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India for a total of 95posts. The exam will be computer based. Candidates those who had applied for Lower Division Clerk post should note that the exam has postponed, for now. The Board has re-opened the option to fill up their particulars in the online prescribed format. Such candidates can fill the form from 16 October 2017 till 15 November 2017. The Board will issue a fresh date for LDC recruitment exam.
The exam for stenographer post will be held in two shifts on 29 October at 21 centres across the country.
'All those candidates desirous of appearing for Examination are required to take the CBT and the requisite skill test in English/Hindi. Only those candidates, who qualify the CBT as per prescribed standards, will be shortlisted for Skill Test in Stenography/Typing in the ratio of 1:20 i.e. 20 candidates for one post, in order of merit.'
The minimum qualifying marks is 45% (40% for OBC and 35% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Divyang/ Ex-Serviceman categories)
The questions of the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. in Hindi and in English medium. The answers are to be indicated on the Computer itself during the Examination. The Skill Test (Stenography/Typing) will be conducted in Hindi and English medium only. The candidates will have to opt their medium of Skill Test in the online application form. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in a medium other than the opted one.
