Job Opportunities In Assam; 601 Posts Under Directorate Of Agriculture
A total of 601 posts are open for recruitment under Directorate of Agriculture, Assam. Recruitment to these contractual posts has begun and candidates shall have to submit online applications. Vacancies are available in the posts of State Coordinator, Gender Coordinator, Deputy Director, Deputy Project Director, Computer Programmer, Accountant cum Clerk, Block Technology Manager and Assistant Technology Manager. Eligible graduates, postgraduates and doctorate degree holders can apply to the posts after going through the eligibility criteria. Details of the recruitment can be found at the official website.
Applicants shall have to upload all the required self attested documents along with passport size photograph and signature during submission of online application.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written exam (OMR based) and merit. The exam will be held at 26 districts in the State (details can be found in the official job notification). Candidates should note that exam for each of the post will be held on the same date and at different centres; therefore they should apply for one post and one district only.
There will be no negative marking and candidates shall have to appear for 100 questions totaling to 100 marks. As of now the recruiting body has not fixed any date for the exam; candidates can check the schedule at the official website.
