New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will release admit card for Junior Accounts Officers recruitment exam. The exam is scheduled to be held on 5 November 2017. Usually recruiting bodies release admit cards, 15 days before the exam, therefore candidates who have registered for the BSNL JAO exam can expect their admit cards anytime soon. The direct recruitment examination will comprise of questions from general English (100 marks) and general aptitude/ awareness (50 marks) and financial and commercial accounts (300 marks).
The question paper will be short answer or objective type. The standard of financial and commercial accounts paper will be postgraduate level.
Online registration for BSNL JAO recruitment was held in September-October. 'The JAO (Junior Accounts Officer) is a Circle-based Cadre and the candidates would be selected against the vacancies of a particular Circle. (The candidates are required to serve in that particular Circle until they are promoted to All India Cadre). However, BSNL has the right to post any selected JAO (Junior Accounts Officer) to any of the Circles either temporarily or on permanent basis. The decision of BSNL in this regard will be final and binding. The service conditions, seniority etc. of selected candidates will be determined as per prevailing rules of the Company from time to time.'
