Burdwan University Invites Application For 58 Vacant Teaching Posts

New Delhi: The University of Burdwan in West Bengal has released a notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for 58 vacant teaching posts. The last date to apply for the teaching faculty posts is April 25, 2017. The vacancy is for 14 Professor posts, 25 Associate Professor posts, and 19 Assistant Professor posts. The vacancies are spread across 24 different departments and disciplines. Candidates would be selected for the teaching posts on the basis of their performance in an interview. 

Eligibility

Applicants must have the minimum qualifications & experience as per relevant latest recruitment guidelines of UGC and latest Memorandum of Government of West Bengal for the Teachers in the State-aided Universities.

Interested candidates can download the application format from the university's official website. Candidates need to send the completed application form on or before April 25, 2017 to the following address:

The completed application form must be accompanied with a Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Finance Officer of the Burdwan University or a cash challan received from the University cash counter after remitting the required application fee. Candidate should also send two copies of all the required documents. Without copy of documents, application will not be accepted. 

Application Fee

The application fee for posts in the pay band Rs. 37,400 - 67,000 for general category candidates is Rs. 1500 and for reserved category candidates is Rs. 1000. The application fee for posts in the pay band Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 for general category candidates is Rs. 1000 and for reserved category candidates is Rs. 750.
