CGPSC State Service Prelims 2016: Results Declared; Check Now

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the result for State Service Examination (Prelims) 2016. The written exam was conducted on February 19, 2017. The exam was conducted for recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 293 vacant posts in various state departments. The Preliminary exam is first stage in a process which comprises of two other stages. Candidates who have qualified the preliminary exam will have to appear for the State Services Exam (Main) which is scheduled to be held from May 18 to May 21.
As per the official notification on CGPSC website, a total of 4395 candidates were supposed to be selected for appearing in the Main exam which is 15 times the number of vacant posts. However, due to unavailability of eligible candidates 4113 candidates have been selected for appearing in the Main exam.
Selected candidates will have to register for the Main exam on the official website. The registration process for Main exam will tentatively begin on April 18, and the commission will release official notice in this regard on the website on April 17, 2017.
How to check resultThe result has been declared in pdf format and contains the list of roll numbers which have shortlisted for Main exam. You can follow the steps given below to access the result pdf:
Step one: Go to Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission website: http://psc.cg.gov.in/
Step two: Click on the link which says Written Exam Result State Service Examination 2016.
Step three: A pdf will open. You can either download it or check the pdf directly for your roll number.
