CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Result Awaited, Council Warns Of Fake Alerts

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has cautioned candidates awaiting UGC NET result for the exam held in June 2017. News has been going around in social media platforms about the result, to which the Council disagrees and has urged candidates to refrain from considering such alerts. CSIR, in an official notification has asked candidates to 'not to fall prey to such unscrupulous elements who are trying to mislead the candidates & not be to misled by such false information.'
CSIR UGC NET 2017 was held on 18 June 2017; the result has not been declared yet. According to the CSIR UGC NET June 2017 notification the final result of this Single MCQ test was supposed to be declared in the month of September/ October 2017.
On 25 October 2017, CSIR had released notification clarifying the delay of the result. 'The declaration of result of Joint CSIR-UGC JRF/NET June-2017 examination held on 18/06/2017 is delayed because of legal issues involved in the wake of the Judgement of Hon'ble High court of Punjab and Haryana in CWP 8015/2017 dated 28/09/2017,' read the notification.
Answer keys for the exam was released in the third week of July and candidates were allowed to challenge the same. The final answer key will be released online.
Online registration for
CSIR UGC June NET was held in February 2017.
IBPS had also warned candidates of fake recruitment notifications, earlier. With IBPS look-alike notifications going viral over internet, aspirants get into confusion, because no such update is available at the official website ibps.in. The dilemma started when fake job notification of IBPS RRB exam surfaced online and was carried by many blogs and websites which are usually subscribed by job aspirants.
