CBSE has announced the exam date for CTET 2018. The notification for the exam was released in June 2018 and online registration began on August 1, 2018. The board had, however, not announced the exam date at the time of registration. At the time of the registration, CBSE had notified that the exam date will be notified later on the official website.
CBSE has finally set the date for the CTET exam. This year CTET will be conducted on December 9, 2018.
Last date to register for CTET 2018 was August 27, 2018. Candidates who have registered for the exam successfully, will get time till August 30 to complete application fee process.
CBSE will begin online correction process for applicants on September 6, 2018, which will conclude on September 10, 2018.
CTET 2018 will have two papers. Paper I is for Primary Teachers and Paper II is for Elementary Teachers. Paper II will be conducted in the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and paper I will be conducted in the afternoon session from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
CTET scores are used for recruitment of teachers in government schools. The scores shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT's of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.
