New Delhi: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released notification for recruitment of Junior Research Fellows available at Aeronautical Development Establishment, Bengaluru initially for a period of two years (extendable as per rules), at a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- (House Rent Allowance is also admissible as per rules). A total of 6 fellowships are available; 3 each in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering disciplines. The upper age limit for the recruitment is 28 years. Details of the recruitment have been released by DRDO at the official website drdo.gov.in.
Candidates with BE/ BTech/ ME/ MTech in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply. Those with graduate degree must have valid GATE score of 2016 and 2017 and for those with postgraduate degree it is mandatory to have secured first division in both graduation and postgraduation.
'Interested candidates may send their neatly typed application (form enclosed) along with self attested copies of proof of Date of Birth, Marks Card, GATE Score Card(s), Degree Certificates, Caste Certificate (if applicable) and Testimonials so as to reach "The Director, Aeronautical Development Establishment, Bengaluru 560 075" on or before 30/10/2017. Incomplete application along with the required attested photocopies is liable to be rejected,' reads the official notification.
Candidates who are awarded Junior Research Fellowship should enroll themselves for Ph.D within six months of their joining.
