New Delhi: Online registration for Graduate Engineer Trainee recruitment has begun at Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad. The leading public sector company has sought applications from candidates with 'First Class Engineering Degree with minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/STs) from AICTE approved Colleges / Recognized Indian Universities in the relevant discipline,' for recruitment as Graduate Engineer Trainee. A total of 66 vacancies are available in the disciplines of ECE, EEE, E&I, CSE, Civil, Mechanical and Chemical. Job notification is available online at ecil.co.in.
The upper age limit for applicants is 25 years as on 30 November 2017. 'Candidates having Post Graduation qualification in Engineering are not eligible to apply,' adds the official notification about eligibility criteria.
Applicants shall have to deposit an amount of Rs 500 towards application fee. 'The application fee is exempted for SC/ST/PWD and Ex-servicemen candidates. Internal Employees are also exempted from payment of Application Fee.'
ECIL will select candidates on the basis of their performance in computer based test (CBT) and interview. CBT will be of 1.5 hours and will be objective type. It will be held at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Trivandrum, Warangal, Karimnagar, Vijayawada, Vizag, Tirupathi, Nagpur, Tiruchy, Cochin, Jabalpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu and Belagavi.
The shortlisted candidates after the CBT will be called for interview.
