Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2017 For 1193 Vacancies In Kerala Circle
India Post has released official notice for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak for Kerala circle. Eligible candidates can apply till November 29, 2017. The post is open for candidates who have passed 10th or matriculation from a recognized board. The Kerala Post Circle recruitment is one in a series of recruitment by India Post for different postal circles across the country. The recruitment is being conducted for a total of 1193 vacancies.
Age LimitThe lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 40 years as on the last date of submission of application through online. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for those belonging to OBC category and 5 years for those belonging to SC and ST category.
Educational QualificationThe candidate must have passed class 10th or matriculation from a recognized board. No additional weightage will be given in case the candidate possesses any additional higher academic degree.
Computer KnowledgeThe candidate applying for the post must possess will have to produce a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc., will also be accepted for this purpose.
This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate will be relaxed in case of candidates who have studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or have any higher educational qualification provided the candidate submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which they have studied computer as a subject.
