Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2017 For Delhi Circle; Apply Till May 8

New Delhi: India Post has released official notice for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak for New Delhi South West Division. Eligible candidates can apply till may 8, 2017. The post  is open for candidates who have passed 10th or matriculation from a recognized board. The Delhi Post Circle recruitment is one in a series of recruitment by India Post for different postal circles across the country. The recruitment is being conducted for a total of 16 vacant posts. 

Age Limit

The lower age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 40 years as on the last date of submission of application through online. The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for those belonging to OBC category and 5 years for those belonging to SC and ST category. 

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed class 10th or matriculation from a recognized board. Candidates possessing any higher degree would not be given any advantage points in the recruitment process. 

Computer Knowledge

The candidate applying for the post must possess will have to produce a basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc., will also be accepted for this purpose.

This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate will be relaxed in case of candidates who have studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or have any higher educational qualification provided the candidate submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which they have studied computer as a subject.
