It helps a prospective employer to shortlist you for the post if you also provide a list of your duties and responsibilities with every previous job experience listed. 

Keywords: Tailor your resume to include the keywords from the job posting where you intend to apply. A simple inclusion of few words and phrases in your resume can help recruiters shortlist your resume from out of hundreds of resume which may be similar to yours.
