The Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services exam (preliminary) will be held on April 7. Admit cards for the exam have been released online. Candidates who had registered for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). The exam will be held in a single session from 11 am to 2 pm at various exam centres. Through this recruitment the Commission will recommend candidates for Excise & Taxation Inspectors, Inspector (Audit) Cooperative Societies and Election Kanungo posts.
"The candidates are advised to remember their User ID(s) and password(s) to log in to download their e-Admission Certificate(s)," reads the official exam notification released by the Commission in December last year. "The provisionally admitted candidates will have to paste a passport size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the space provided on the downloaded e-Admission Certificate(s), failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Screening Test/Examination, in any condition/ circumstances, whatsoever," it adds.
Candidates who qualify the prelims will be eligible to appear for the main exam. The number of candidates to be shortlisted for the main exam will be 20 times the total number of vacancies.
The prelims will carry a total of 200 marks.
