New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited application form ex-apprentices for filling up of available Junior Engineering Assistant vacancies in non-executive cadre in Group IV. The vacancies are open only for such candidates who have completed their apprentice training at the Haldia Refinery. The last date to submit the application form is December 11, 2017. The recruitment will be done for the following disciplines - Chemical, Boiler Attendant,  Electrical,  Mechanical,  and Instrumentation. Selection will be based on a written test which will be followed by a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have a 3 year Diploma degree in a relevant field (check detailed advertisement for discipline-wise qualification).

The lower age limit to apply is 18 years and upper age limit for general category candidates is 26 years as on November 30, 2017. There is a relaxation in upper age limit of 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) will be given 10 years relaxation as against reserved vacancies.

Selection Method

Candidates would have to appear in a written test of 2 hours duration. Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) which will be of qualifying nature. Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in the written test to qualify for SPPT. The minimum qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories against reserved positions.
