Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Engineers/ Officers/ Assistant Officer (Quality Control) through GATE-2018. Interested candidates can apply for the posts at the official website of IOCL at iocl.com. While graduate engineers will be posted as Engineers/ Officers, those with postgraduate degree in Chemistry and 2 years of relevant work experience will be recruited as Assistant Officer (Quality Control). Graduate engineers in the discipline Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation will be recruited as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs).
'Short-listing of candidates for further selection process (comprising Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT) and Personal Interviews (PI)) will be based on GATE-2018 score. GATE score of 2017 or any other previous examination is not valid. Candidates have to essentially qualify in the GATE-2018 examination for getting shortlisted for further selection process comprising GD/GT and Personal Interview. However, short-listing will be based on merit of the candidates from different categories in line with the reservation policy,' reads the job notification.
IOCL Recruitment 2017 Through GATE 2018 Score; Apply At Iocl.comApplicants belonging to general and OBC category must have secured minimum 65% marks in the degree exam (55% for other categories). For MSc in Chemistry the minimum marks is 60% for General and OBC (non- creamy layer) categories (55% for other reserved categories).
