ISRO To Recruit Engineer Graduates To Scientist/ Engineer 'SC' Posts
ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) has announced job openings for engineering graduates (BE/ BTech or equivalent degree in Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science). A total of 80 vacancies are open and ISRO offers the position in Level 10 of Pay Matrix. 'BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available),' are eligible to apply for this post. In addition to this, candidates must also satisfy the age limit, which is 35 years as on 5 October 2017.
Candidates should note that the online registration portal for the same will be open till 5 October 2017. Those registered under National Career Services (NCS) can also apply and are suggested to go through the official website for further details in this regard.
Applicants, who are already in a government job, shall have to send No Objection Certificate to the Administrative Officer ICRB before 12 October 2017.
ISRO will conduct written test for the registered candidates on 24 December 2017 at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
The exam will comprise of 80 questions and will be objective type based. The test will only be qualifying in nature and scores will be used to shortlist candidates for interview. Those candidates who score more than 60% marks in the interview will be considered for the selection panel.
'All Women candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-servicemen [EX] and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.' However other candidates have to submit Rs 100 as application fee.
