New Delhi: As many as 4,956 youths have been selected as constables in different wings of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, an official said today. List of candidates for the post of constables in Jammu and Kashmir police (IR Battalions/Armed Police/Executive Police) can be accessed from the official website now. As part of the JK Police constable recruitment, the JK Police has released the merit lists, selection lists and waiting lists of candidates on the official website. These JK Police constable results can be accessed from the website:b http://www.jkpolice.gov.in.
"Happy to inform that 4956 candidates have been selected for the post of Constable in @JmuKmrPolice through Transparent Recruitment Process. I congratulate all the selected candidates & their families. The final list can be accessed at http://www.jkpolice.gov.in after few minutes," tweeted Shesh Paul Vaid, Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu & Kashmir.
The JK Police constable results have been organised with details of application number, roll number, name, father's name, category, post preferences, address and marks obtained.
JK Police has released the results for all these districts: Srinagar, Budgam, Ganderbal, LEh, Kargil, Anantnag, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora,Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, Ramban, Kishtwar.

Click on the "Recruitment Result" link from the bottom of homepage
Click on the lists given near the district names
See your results
The JK Police released the posts of constables under TRP 2016-17 vide Advisement Notice issued vide No. Pers-A-38/2016/59220-320 dated 08/10/2016, and the written test was conducted on October 08, 2017 (Sunday) in all the districts of the state.
The answers for all hundred (100) Multiple Choice questions was uploaded on J&K Police Website (www.jkplice.gov.in) on October 21, 2017.
Earlier, PTI reported in May that, 3710 candidates, including 69 females, applied for the posts of constable despite threats from the militants against joining the police and security forces.
