JKPSC Declares KAS 2014 Result; 51 Candidates Selected

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has declared the result for J&K Combined Civil Services Examination 2014. In the exam, otherwise known as KAS 2014, 51 candidates have been recommended for medical examination. Surankote boy, Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak has topped the exam by securing 1514.33 marks in aggregate. Aliya Tabassum and Fareed Ahmad have secured second and third position, respectively. The results were announced by the Commission on 18 December 2017 at the official website jkpsc.nic.in. A total of 175 candidates had appeared for the interview.
Read: Boy Whose Home Set On Fire By Terrorists Tops Kashmir Civil Service ExamOut of the 20180 applications registered for the KAS 2014, 12145 candidates appeared for the prelims held on 30 August 2015. 1275 candidates made it to the main examination which was held from 11 to 27 February 2017 at both Jammu and Srinagar. Personal interview was held from 20 November 2017 and 6 December 2017 for 171 candidates.
As of now, the Commission has released the marks of the candidates online. Detailed mark card will be available on the Commission's website after the recommended list of candidates is released.

In such case, candidates will be allowed one month (from the date of declaration of result) to raise their objections by paying a fee of Rs 100 per paper.
